The General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries continues to implement the work of generating and secondary stations for the industrial cities in the governorates of Basra and Dhi Qar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Prof. Dr. Eng. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, the respected, on the need to expedite work in the work of electrical stations and their accessories for the industrial cities in the governorates of Basra and Dhi Qar, and with direct supervision and field follow-up by the company’s general manager, the respected Eng. The work includes the installation and operation of generating units, the implementation of civil and electrical works, and the extension of cables linking the central station and the main feeders in the industrial city of Basra Governorate

  

  

  The respected Director General went to Dhi Qar Governorate to follow up the civil and electrical works and to install and operate the generating units of the industrial city after the experimental operation of the electrical station in Dhi Qar Governorate had been carried out earlier.

  

  

Work is still underway to reach the final stages of operation within the approved timings.

  

It is worth noting that the industrial cities represent a new stage for the advancement of the industrial reality of the two governorates
