Design
Distribution transformers are manufactured from high quality silicon steel that had
been cutted according to design and capacity of transformers, the low voltage coils make
from copper stripes while high voltage coils make from copper conductors insulated
of varnish insulate material is using in transformer coil, contain of diamond squares
coated from two sides, this arrangement from insulated material amonge coils, when
pressed it up and dryness it by dry furnaces well become holds and strong and consist
of one unity. In this method , company transformers become more firmness toward forces
which produce of the short electrical circuit inside transformer. The core and coil
assembly are integrated into a fin-cooled tank in the most economical manner to
provide appropriate interface connection to the customers system.
Manufacture
Distribution transformers are manufactured completely at factory, the sequence of
manufacturing goes very smooth as follow:
1- Silicon steel has been cutted and coil by high accurate speed for machine george according to transformer capacity for producting iron cores with coiling type (wound core) with five columns consist of assembles and each assemble constitute many layers of silicon steel wherever out set and end assembles with alternate method to enable coils entered inside the column iron core .
2- Low voltage coils have coiled from the annealed copper strips and insulated amongits layers with insulated paper with the type craft paper which non-chemical treatment for enable paper to saturation with oil to high enable degree
3- High voltage coils have coiled from copper wire insulated with varnish material. It has coiled directly on low voltage coil include less volume and given the high strong mechanical against electrodynamics forces .
4- Coils have been press up and dryness by specialist machine and dry furnaces
5- Coils have been assembled with iron core in limited regions on production line with using cranes for this purpose .
6- All connective copper have been assembled with off load tap changer and bushing.
7- Transformer has dried and outside any moisture of coils before had put it in tank
8- Active parts of transformers have been combined inside tanks after that filling it
of oil inside vacuum rooms from air.
9- Tank have been manufactured in the company in the complete line way for
producing corrugated fins which automatic welding after that tanks have been
cleaned by chemical material then coated in three layers for protection tanks from rust and changeable weather conditions.
10- After ending production transformer procedures have been all routen testing
according to the international specification in addition of procedure.
some quantity testing like measuring the temperature rise and
measuring the sound level of the transformers .
