The General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries is completing the installation of the Al-Kahlaa mobile power station in coordination with the Maysan Oil Company

Eng. Taher Jaber Kazem, Maintenance Manager of the Transformer Factory at the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries, declared to the company’s media office, saying: Under the direct supervision of the company’s general manager, Eng. (Majid Abdel Hussein), the installation of the Al-Kahlaa mobile power station project was inaugurated with a capacity of 45 megavolts and a voltage of 132/33 Kilovolt, a French-made Siemens, in coordination with the Maysan Oil Company, within the social benefits projects, and in cooperation with the Raban Al Safina Company.

 He added that the financing of the project was provided by the Chinese Petrochemical Company

He added that the completed station will contribute to improving the electrical reality in the district of Al-Kahlaa, releasing the bottlenecks in the electrical network, and providing (45) megawatts.

The company continues to open channels of cooperation and coordination with government companies and the private sector in order to contribute to the development of the reality of the Iraqi industry and support the country's economy.
