The General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries continues to implement the work of generating and secondary stations for the industrial cities in the governorates of Basra and Dhi Qar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Based on the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Minerals, Prof. Dr. Eng. Khaled Battal Al-Najm, the respected, on the need to expedite work in completing the work of the electrical stations and their accessories for the industrial cities in the governorates of Basra and Dhi Qar, and with direct supervision and field follow-up by the company’s general manager, the respected Eng. Sufyan Fawzi Shaalan Al-Jubouri, and in cooperation with the general manager The Industrial Cities Authority, the esteemed Mr. Hamed Awad and their cadres

  

  

  The engineering and technical cadres in the Projects Department carried out the final works of installing and operating the generating units, as well as continuing to implement the civil and electrical works and extending the cables linking the intermediate station and the main feeders in the industrial cities of Basra Governorate

  

  

  

At the same time, the specialized technical cadres of the company prepared and maintained the motors of the generation units for the purpose of carrying out the trial operation to conduct the necessary audit of the equipment and engines in the electrical station in Basra Governorate, after the experimental operation of the electrical station in Dhi Qar Governorate had been carried out earlier, and work is continuing with excavation work and laying cables. Work is still in progress to reach the final stages of operation within the approved timings.

  

  

It is worth noting that the industrial cities represent a new stage for the advancement of the industrial reality of the two governorates
