Desalination systems
It produces an RO station in six stages (purification - desalination - sterilization - with UV). The plant also assembles and installs water desalination systems using reverse osmosis using osmotic membranes. These systems are used for drinking purposes, in cooling towers, dialysis, burns, and watering plants. The system consists of:
1. The primary feeding pump for the water entering the system
2. Sand filter to remove plankton and impurities
3. Cellulose filter with a degree of (5) micron to remove mud
4. High pressure pump for water pressure inside osmotic membranes
5. Osmotic membranes inside a membrane container to remove dissolved salts in water
6. Ultraviolet sterilization kit to sterilize water from bacteria
7. The electrical control panel that controls the system
8. The frame of the system is made of stainless steel
9. A cool Caravan and wrapped to maintain a temperature below (35) degrees Celsius
Water treatment and sterilization system
The General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries seeks to use energy technologies in the areas of water treatment and sterilization
The use of this technology in the treatment and sterilization of water, especially in schools, to provide drinking water according to international standards is a service to our dear children and students.
The type of system used depends on the percentage of the salinity of dissolved salts (TDS), the percentage of the amount of suspended substances (TSS) and other chemical components, which can be obtained after analyzing a sample from the source of the water to be treated.
Types of water according to salinity ratios (TDS)
• Less than (1000 PPM) fresh water
• From (1000-3000 PPM) medium salinity
• From (3000-10000 PPM) salt water
• From (10000-350000 PPM) brackish water
Components of the treatment and sterilization system and methods of periodic maintenance
The river treatment system consists of the following parts:
1- ( 3 ) treatment vessel (1 - gravel + sand) 2- (carbon granules) 3- ( rose for salinity treatment)
2- (UV ultra violet) unit for treating water with ultraviolet light to sterilize water from microbial components
3- Automatic and manual operation panel
4- Pumps (2)
5- Cellulose filter (3)
6- control valves
Periodic maintenance
• Replace the cellulosic filter every month, according to the turbidity of the water
• Washing the second and third every two months with water
Adding (Risen) every season to (vessel) No. (3)
Technical specifications and components of the system
• Operational control unit
• A treatment and sterilization (UV) system with a capacity of (500) liters / hour
• metal frame
• Electrical and sanitary connections
• Automatic and manual operation
